We love the German term "Kulturwandel". It describes cultural change. When applied to the context of internet culture: it can be used to reflect how we create, interact, work — and most of all, what we value. At Gen‑O, we’ve embraced Kulturwandel: because we recognise that new internet culture is deeply entwined with music, art, fashion, and human experience. And so, for one sunshine-filled night only, it was with great pride that we hosted our first Gen-O event in Germany under the theme Kulturwandel. By weaving together themes such as ai, identity and collective ownership with creative values such as self‑expression, collaboration and aesthetic exploration— we demonstrated Kulturwandel in action.
Kulturwandel reminds us that true transformation comes from changing culture, not just systems.

The experience we had together in Berlin will live long in our memories. The night included live performances, runway showcases from rising designers and art exploring new identities. We shifted a crypto meetup into an immersive, cultural experience. At the centre of many of our discussions was a feeling that Web3 is more than tokens and code. We reminded ourselves that with care, together we can shape how people interact, create, and share value. If we don’t embed art, music, fashion, and cultural relevance, we risk becoming insular and inaccessible. As one guest said:
The next wave of internet culture won't be defined by new technologies—it’s about reshaping mindsets, values, and collective behaviour toward openness, collaboration, and innovation.
