Sjuul lives on a strawberry farm in the Netherlands. His office? A converted barn, surrounded by fields - and family. It’s a long way from the backdrop of Lambos and Rolexes that often fill the crypto influencer feed — and that’s exactly how he likes it.
You might know him as the face behind AltCryptoGems , the fast-growing content empire helping everyday users understand altcoins, trading, and opportunities onchain. But behind the viral videos and 15-person team is a father, a self-proclaimed barbecue aficionado, and someone figuring out how to balance Web3 hustle with everyday life.
That tension — between hustle and home — plays out across his life. As someone who grew up helping on the farm through good seasons and bad, he’s grounded by real-world values even as he navigates crypto’s wild volatility. “The thing is, when I’m in Dubai doing events, I love it, but I'm also thinking about being back home, grilling meat with a beer in my hand and the kids running around.”

Every morning starts early for Sjuul — woken up by his kids at 6 a.m., checking markets, clearing messages from Telegram, X, Instagram. Then it’s a blur of breakfast, daycare drop-off, and straight into the business of crypto content. “It’s non-stop,” he admits. “But I turned my hobby into my job, so I do love it.”
He’s trying to draw better lines between family and work — including a weekly “Daddy Day” where he switches off from crypto completely. But the lines are blurry. “Even when we go somewhere, I’m filming content. Even at dinner, people ask me for tips.
“Two years ago I told my girlfriend, once the bull run’s over, I’ll take a break.”
Looking ahead, Sjuul isn’t slowing down. He’s expanding his brand suite (AltCryptoTalk, AltCryptoGems, a new podcast called AltCryptoCast, and now even merch), scaling his content team, and building partnerships like a Web2 media business. “It’s less about trading now,” he says. “It’s about building a platform that helps people really understand this space.”
